Om Nom is shown to be a candy lover and have a sweet tooth. Later, Om Nelle was added to My Om Nom, and she became a main character in Om Nom Stories. In an interview, Semyon Voinov said that Om Nom was originally going to have a boyfriend who appeared in Cut the Rope, but the plan was scrapped.

Only a little information is available about the species of Om Nom. He also has his transformations from Cut the Rope: Magic in the Magic book. In gameplay, he works the same as in the earlier games with the player needing to feed him candy. Om Nelle and a tired Nibble Nom find out and are not very pleased with Om Nom, though they cheer up and join in eating cake with him.

Om Nom appears as a playable character in Om Nom: Run. Later, Om Nom gets freed from the rope and then meets up with the Nommies. Om Nom's leg then gets tangled up in a rope attached to the spider's hot air balloon. He then spots the Spiders stealing his candy. In the direct sequel to the original game, Om Nom is first seen atop a mountain of candies. As the story unfolds, Om Nom meets up with his ancestors (and for one, descendant).Īt the end of the game, Om Nom falls onto a mountain of candies, and he receives a crown on his head. Om Nom gets sucked into the time machine.
Suddenly, a time machine appears, showing the year 2013. In Time Travel, Om Nom is seen in Evan's room eating candy. In Experiments, Om Nom's box falls out of a truck the Professor picks it up and says "Interesting." Just like the first game, you must feed him with candy to complete the levels. Om Nom reappears in Holiday Gift, the second game. The banner above him says "Thanks for playing". On the box there is a piece of paper that says: " Feed with candy." Upon the completion of the original game, Om Nom is shown on a top of a candy mountain. Om Nom is in the box, with his eyes seen through a hole. In the original game, the doorbell rings, and a box shows up at a person's doorstep.
